For Christmas this year we wanted to take the kids on the Polar Express at Heber Valley Railroad. We went on Friday and I think I was more excited than the kids. Here we are getting ready to board the train.
Once we boarded there were elves that brought us hot chocolate and cookies from Mrs. Claus. Then we read the book " The Polar Express". Mrs. Claus came aboard to visit with us too. She told Wyatt and Matthew they were on the good list and that she saw elves wrapping a Leapster for Wyatt ( This is what he wants for Christmas). Wyatt was very excited.

We sang Christmas songs and outside the window we saw the moon relecting off the water and it was so beautiful. When we got to the North Pole we saw Santa outside waving to us and then he boarded the train and gave each child the first gift of Christmas (a bell). He spent time with each child and the boys were so happy.

After the train ride we bought the boys a little toy train each and went to the Dairy Keen in Heber for dinner. They have a train that runs on a track all around the restaurant and Matthew couldn't keep his eyes off it. He loved it. Our dinner was cut short when Matthew had a huge diaper blow out and we had to leave the restaurant with him only in his diaper. Other than the blow out, it was a wonderful evening and one I hope the kids will always remember- I know I will.

What a fun activity! I'm glad Matthew didn't have his blow out on the train. The good news is he will be potty trained when you go next year :)
So cute! I love the boys in matching jammies.
Santa looks awesome and I am sure that they will remember this. You are so good at making memories.
