My baby is growing up. He started his first day of Kindergarten on Thursday and he was so excited. He had been asking me for a week how many more days until he started school. When he woke up Thursday morning he came upstairs dressed and ready for school only to be dissappointed that he had four more hours until we went to the bus. He was so excited and nervous he could hardly eat his lunch and then he wanted to hurry to the bus so that he wouldn't miss it. The bus was late, so that was hard on him, but when he saw it driving down the street he smiled from ear to ear.

I can't believe my baby is five and going to school. I bawled like a baby the whole day Thursday. I worry about him and I am not used to being away from him on a consistant basis, but I know he will learn a lot and will love school so I am happy he is there.
