My birthday was yesterday, but it really started on Friday. Scott took me shopping and out to dinner at my favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse. He bought me two dresses from Old Navy and they are beautiful. Then on Saturday my mother-in-law took me shopping for shoes to go with my dresses and then to Motherhood for two maternity swimsuits I wanted. I know I will be spending a lot of time in the pool with the kids this spring and summer and I wanted to look cute. She also took me to lunch at Training Table and then to Frogurt for dessert. We had my birthday dinner with the Buchanan's Sunday and I got some scrapbooking tools from Steve and Jackie and a giftcard to Hobby Lobby form Ryan and Michelle. I bought decorative pillows for my bay window seat in my bedroom with the giftcard. On Monday I took one of my young women, Emily, out for shakes since her birthday was Sunday. On my birthday my mom took me out to lunch and another favorite restaurant of mine, Red Robin. We also went to Baskin Robbins to use my free scoop of ice cream coupon for my birthday. I got peanut butter chocolate. YUMMY! My mom has been helping me buy everything I needed to redecorate my bay window seat. I got new curtains and curtain rods and a window seat pad that I covered. It was a big project that I couldn't have done without her help. It looks so good and I love it. Last, but not least we watched "Princess and the Frog" last night as a family. I had a perfect day. I love my birthday!!!
